By my recent experience, libraries & FedEx Office & UPS Store will only print via email ☹️ Do you know otherwise? I need to print via Bluetooth.

You can use a USB drive, so maybe if you use a sync cable for your phone that would work.

I don’t think they allow bluetooth since that usually requires pairing with the host.

UPS Store has an app to print, not sure what that involves, could be roughly the same as email.

Best solution is to call a local office and ask.

Is there a reason why you can’t download it on your device and email it? Sorry, just trying to understand the situation

Because it’s a certificate at the end of a work tutorial and they say do not screen capture it, you must print it directly from your phone at the end of the tutorial and you cannot close the screen until you print it or you’ll have to start all over again and do the tutorial all over again. All I have is my smartphone and I do not have USB I don’t have cables. It has to go directly from my phone to a printer.

Then I’m going to have to go into work and do this aren’t I, it’s going to be awful.

I am a new hire and it didn’t occur to me to ask my boss so I just texted him. asked him if I can use a computer at work for this. our job is not computer-centric, it’s an aesthetics industry so computers are not abundant there.

There should be a way to save the file, I would think. There’s nothing on your phone browser about saving it? I would call HR for support (or ask whoever is onboarding you if it’s a new job). I’m sure they’ve had to handle this before

Edit: also who downvoted OP for that comment lol? Talk about judgmental

Thank you. All I’ve done so far is read the instructions for the tutorial, once I start the tutorial it takes an hour and if I exit out I have to start all over again so I haven’t even gotten to the point where I can see whether or not I can save the file. But I will dig into this deeper and research it. I just texted my boss and asked him.

On an iPhone, share menu, print, then share menu from the print page. This gives you a save to files option. You can then physically print the PDF at your leisure and however is convenient for you.

In chrome, you can open the three dot menu at the top right, hit Share, and then hit print, select Save as PDF, hit the yellow PDF button, then select where to save it to.

On Firefox, you can open the Share menu and save the page as a PDF directly from there.

Or at least I can on my phone

Is this in a web browser? Special app? What do they expect you to press on your phone to get it to print? There should be an option to pick pdf as a destination “device” or share>save as pdf. I have android and have made pdfs

USB probably won’t work for that anyway. If you don’t want to go into work then your only option at UPS Store would probably be to rent the computer access time and do the tutorial on their machine and then print directly, with no phone involved.

The UPS here just gives you a computer to look at, it’s not super secured or anything special here, if you can get it connected, you can print on it.

If Bluetooth isnt an option WiFi most likely will work. Just make sure your device is connected to the network and hopefully the printer will show up as a network device
