User @MisterChief@lemmy.world pointed out I missed a small section of the description that says theses do not stick to the console but are held in place with Velcro.

So they are more of a console cover than wrap but it means they can easily be swapped out for a new look.

Microsoft have announced three new official wraps for the Xbox Series X.

The first is a Starfield themed white wrap and then there is a blue camouflage patterned wrap and a white camouflage one. However the Arctic White Camo wrap isn’t available on the UK store.

The blue Mineral Camo wrap costs £39.99 but perhaps unsurprisingly the Starfield wrap comes at a more premium £44.99 price with both wraps available starting October 18th 2023.

You can pre-order them here should you so wish with the Starfield wrap shipping in time for launch on October 18th but the Mineral Camo wrap is proving more popular (likely because it’s cheaper) as you’ll have to wait until November 13th for one of those.

I suppose it’s a better alternative than limited edition consoles at £479.99 a pop but these wraps depend entirely on your skills at applying them.

There’s no sign of wraps for the Series S as yet though.

If there was a plain white one I’d be interested as all my consoles are white except the Series X. Well my PS2 is silver so close enough.
