Shaun: Take car. Go to Mum’s. Kill Maul - “Sorry.” - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?

I just trolled myself seeing the picture and the YT link, fully believing this will be one of those masterfully edited videos, where they put someone in another movie/videogame. Like Austin Powers in Mass Effect. Still its great :)

I rewatched it recently. It was funny generally but man is it slow paced. It feels a little off in that regard. Still fun though.

That’s completely without merit. I say this as someone who works as a cinematographer lol

When was the last time you watched SotD? The performances are uneven and the slower pace means they’re more on display. It makes the film feel rocky at times.

It’s extra funny considering the pace in Hot Fuzz is super snappy. And Hot Fuzz is definitely their masterpiece.

I can’t stand copaganda and I rewatch Hot Fuzz probably twice a year. For any aspiring video editors out there, it is a master class in how to make dynamic transitions/traveling/passage of time. It somehow even makes that stuff funny/thrilling. That movie is relentless
