NixOS is never going mainstream. When the answer to everything is oh just write a package for it. Unless their is a nice gui to edit your configuration file also it well always be niche.

N is not modern in any sense of the word. I think 6 is more used then you would think. All ISP I know are giving out 6 access points and have for awhile.

Hasn’t it already kind of p;plateaued, or slowed at least. They where promising the world and it seems to have kind of halted.

It’s still a fad. Sure it has some uses but most of it is hype right now and they throw AI onto everything.
