It’s a totally different take on Dr who compared to the ones from 2005, and the pacing is sooo slow, but sit back with some jelly babies and enjoy.

I would say it depends on the season and episode, but yes after Davis left the quality has gone downhill.
And what kind of UI should I like oh wise one, I’m not worthy of your wisdom, please tell me, I’m begging you!
There’s plenty reason to shit on gnome, they took off in a direction and changed the whole look and feel, without any option to keep something like the gnome 2 layout.
The introduction of Gnome 3 scared me away, the initial version was garbage. I switched to XFce and MATE, and eventually ended up with Cinnamon.
They may have made it usable, but I still don’t like the user interface.
Who uses Gnome these days? i have used the forks Cinnamon or MATE, since gnome shell was introduced.

Because of SVN? Git was 4 years old when I did my thesis so I hadn’t really heard about it.
My thesis was versioned using SVN on my server and I had a remote backup at my parents. And stored on both my laptop and desktop.
Sadly she had to learn the hard way, as I remember when writing exam papers my rhythm went something like this:
Type type Ctrl+s … Type type Ctrl+s … Type type Save as on USB … Type type Ctrl+s …
If the error is too frequent it will be hunted down very fast, what you want is errors that happen no more than once every month, maybe add another level that ensures this only triggers based on the running time.
Great looking forward to the new Tennant seasons
