My house is chockablock full of ESP32 powered WLED strips. I use 5v strips and a 10A fuse on the power supply line so no risk of shorts or fire.
Ideally it’s probably a good reason the safety gear is plastic because it makes replacing it easier, using the machine safer, and will save the motor on the long term.
I used a grease monkey script that ran in the browser and emulated browser input so no API needed. I am not sure about the tools now.

Oh we are ages away from that. AI doesn’t actually write code. It writes what it thinks you want for code but it has no capacity for understanding its own output.
