I’m no phycisist but I’d bet that the claim “it consumes no energy” is almost certainly false. I get what they mean but this isn’t exactly a honest way to describe it.
Independent thinker valuing discussions grounded in reason, not emotions.
Open to reconsider my views in light of good-faith counter-arguments but also willing to defend what’s right, even when it’s unpopular. My goal is to engage in dialogue that seeks truth rather than scoring points.

Internal affairs will be in contact with you shortly.
Hate to be that guy again, but you forgot the period at the end of your sentence.
Agreed. Hate is poison to the mind. To me, it means you want to destroy something on sight. I can’t think of a single thing I dislike that much
Hate is such a powerful emotion. I can’t honestly think anything that I hate. I dislike many things but not hate.
It starts by being the best feeling in the world and then you just slowly get used to it and it becomes quite mundane. Some people intrepret the honey moon period ending as the amount of love decreasing but in reality it just changes. This happens to everyone. Also, the first time is usually the best feeling one, especially in the beginning, while probably not objectively best of all the relationships you’re going to have.
Immediate inflation is what would happen.
I’m the only guy in my (small) friend group who still used pattern code instead of fingerprint so I take that to mean my phone is by default more difficult to break into than most. Giving my fingerprint to a giantic tech firm has always seemed like a bad idea so I never did. Though the fingerprint reader acts as a power button too so who knows if they’ve scanned it anyway.
This is equivalent of stalking your ex years after breaking up and hoping them to break up with their new partner.
Move on.
I post gay porn. The number or right-wing rednecks that follow me with their public profiles is… confusing.
Right, but I don’t see how simply being on the platform makes one part of the problem.
I wonder if the right-wing content actually has increased, or if it’s just the ratio of it compared to left-wing content as much of the left has seemingly abandoned the platform.
My feed was almost entirely non-political to begin with, and personally, I’ve hardly noticed any difference, though the little politics that do get thru tend to indeed lean right.
What’s the problem?
Don’t contribute to malice what can be explained by ignorance.
