So that’s why Instagram is the way it is, i assumed it was fairly small but it has attracted a rather toxic userbase and i don’t actually enjoy it anymore.
It used to be a place where i could share my joys and people with similar interests would follow me because they enjoy my joys too.
But now it’s just tiktok, at least i assume seeing it’s all reels and loud noises.
I wanted a G8 monitor or the G9
The G9 is still €1799 and the G8 went from €888 to €840.
I’ll wait for an upgrade of either and see these drop to 2/3 of msrp or something.
Tax dollars are paying for that right?
I’m Dutch myself, but i know a lot of people who can’t afford another increase in cost of living…i’m quite certain America has many more people in the same situation.
I wonder what would happen if Google manages to destroy itself with increasing shenanigans like this.
I mean, so much of digital based stuff relies on them for some extent.
I finished the story and did some sight seeing and tried to build an outpost to make fat stacks but somehow i couldn’t find the right location after 4 hours of searching and that’s when i ditched the game.
I enjoyed it for about 70h, then i got sick of all the loading.
I just need properly updated skyrim. Better graphics, similar amount of loading screens, better npc’s, better mechanics but the same old fantasy setting.
Oh and all the mods, something about sculpting my own vuloptuous barbie doll character to turn into the ultimate killing machine.
With stuff like that, depending on the rarity obviously wouldn’t it be better to get a regular version to read?
I have those magnet balls and over the years (sounds more dramatic than it is) i bought 10 sets which usually sit on my desk in some fancy shape as decoration.
They can get fairly expensive (mass/price) so i opted to buy a single set every so often as i haven’t found a magnet shop that sells individual balls for less.
Sometimes i get so invested i’ll mess with them for hours.
They sound really dramatic and difficult to deal with (an assumption based on what i usually hear about people that are similar in preferences etc).
If this is right, take care.
I’d give them a call: “i don’t mind these changes for 65% of the previous fee, unless you want me to cancel right here right now”.
See if they are willing to compensate, if not just cancel and yarr matey.
It’s just entertainment in the end, nothing we can’t live without or have loads of replacements available.
Wait…so, if i understand this correctly yeah…the Deck might upen us all up to a future of Linux as our operating system as gamers?
Seeing how popular it is etc, might that actually be on purpose? Excuse me being dumb, i just play games and that’s it basically no real computer tech knowledge.
Good lad, fuck 'm all.
I’ve also cancelled mine.
Last time (and first) i went to therapy i was low on money and because of our insurance i “only”(be warned, veru european amounts ahead) had to pay my “own risk” clause which sat at €385. But i REALLY needed some form of help during that time, i had some job interviews and i was physically unable to drag myself to them.
I got about halfway and just break down completely, so i was desperate and literally stuck in life from my point of view.
So i went to therapy with my last money and ended getting 3 sessions and a “we can’t help you there is nothing wrong here’s the bill tho”.
I still don’t know how i managed to get out of there, but i can still feel it pulling in the background…this constant dragging brake.
I don’t think psychadelics can get me out of this, i tried weed once and man did i have a bad time. I’ve always had this: “i wouldn’t mind not existing/suicide would be great right about now” kind of brain and the weed didn’t help the worse part of that battle.
I could’ve expected that, my wife takes zoo trips in Germany with a coworker and they also get loads of grocery’s.
Just last weekend she brought a bunch of monster energy, 77 cents a piece. I pay €2,50 for a single can over here.
She also bought kraken rum and a bottle of aberfeldy whiskey for me which were roughly €7 cheaper each.
When i was 16 i worked at Albert Heijn and they stopped selling coca cola because the distributor wanted to make them €1,35 compared to the current €1,15. Albert Heijn said “nope, stop or we will stop selling”. The shelves were empty for a couple weeks and then miraculously filled with coca cola for €1,35 and not a word was spoken about it.
But i stumbled on a mini documentary on yt about German grocery stores (specifically the huge ones apparently) and how they are losing money. So you might end up paying a similar price as us some time in the near future.
Nah you’re looking for a fight just to feel good, foolish person.
I never said anything about old folks, ya weirdo. But since you’re so adamant i actually have a disability but i’m not taking no for an answer from life.
I want to do good by our planet to the best of my ability even if it means i have a little more pain. It’s not like the pain will ever stop existing so i might as well do the right thing.
Heck an e bike would actually make my commute longer, there is no sense in getting one for myself.
I never hated on cars either, you just made that shit up like the rest that’s coming out of your mouth. If you want a car, go get it. If you need a car, go get it. If you don’t need one, GO GET IT. I don’t give a fuck.
I just know like everyone else that battery’s are also fucking bad. Same as gas, same as using up all of earths resources etc etc.
With todays price…you’re selling at a loss dude.
In my mind a bottle was still like 1,50, turns out those bastards are already at twice that over here.
In a way, yea sure. I have a gut feeling that those battery’s will become the next big issue once gasoline has a way lower market share.
I haven’t left, convince me to.
