Love my arteck gear, it’s cheap AF, but I can buy 5 or 6 for the price of 1 nice setup, and I don’t worry at all about it being trashed in transit.
The small keyboard fits just about any pocket my deck will fit into (yeah I travel in loose baggy clothes), and I have a really small collapsible kick stand for the deck as well.
Do it at the store, then you don’t need bags, if your ever see me in here buying apples, I don’t need a bag, but I can only do 3, so if you are me buying more than 3 apples, bag it up!

From my experience, only “borked” are without hope. (Almost?) All of the silver games work on my deck, I can’t remember the last one that didn’t work. I’ve had one verified game that doesn’t work at all, I believe square enix borked it with a patch (because they released the "hd"version and didn’t want to support the previous one, aka they deliberately broke the working version)
79% gold and platinum, 87% platinum gold and silver, I’ve definitely played a number of “not supported” (or too early access to be on proton db). Of 1405 games I’d say I’m set for life

Let me be straight with you guys, televisions are definitely better, cell phones are much better, I don’t think there’s a single (consisting mostly of) electronics (some coffee grinders, maybe some other kitchen appliances) device that existed in the 90s/naughts that I would take over it’s current iteration.

I rewatched the usual suspects for the upteenhundreth time, I think it lost a little bit of its magic. Michael Baldwins character is just a bit too camera hungry and angry for me, some of the scenes have just lost their luster. It’s still a 9/10, but after 20 years I think it’s no longer my 10/10 go to for a guaranteed love rewatch movie. It hurts. Have I become jaded?

Game had a very rough launch, and there’s some questionable decisions the development team ran with (always online), but hopefully it’ll get an offline mode in the future.
Right there with you, at this point it’s absolutely a question if I want to fire up the laptop and hope the battery doesn’t explode, or pull the desktop out of storage and take over the living room television. That deck is too damn versatile and portable, anything that doesn’t run on it doesn’t get added to the library any more, unless it’s free!

I have a full size and multiple 60%'s, they’re all very reliable, not the heartiest, but I had the first one for over 5 years, all of the screws stripped out of the back (from being repeatedly walked on by the dogs, rolled upon by myself), and it still worked. But using it became a chore so I caved and bought another to replace it.
