I never force myself. If it sucks, I’ll ditch it asap. But just because i would love the old combat, i also know it will never ever come back like this. I can also enjoy a more action-oriented combat. I just don’t prefer it when given the choice 😊

Andromeda was ok in that regard. I will give it a shot in some many months when all is patched out and there may even be some mods (oh yes please)

Thanks for the details, but that sounds… Generic. I really hoped for it to have them pimping up the programmable combat. But i see why that might not be as commercially successful as it’s probably more niche.

Dude, I’m retired for 3 decades and still would need more time and had to prioritise hobbies. I work voluntarily with abused people, but not because I’m bored but because someone needs to. Besides that i love gaming, coding, traveling, cars, boats, going on daily tours with wifey, reading, music, watching star trek…

But I’ve seen people retire and getting bored to death a week later. I always found that sooo tragically sad, like they were born to be worker-ants and without work there’s nothing left worth living in their lifes.

But yes, the best job is one you actually want to do and are not forced to do.

I already did somewhere in my 20s like 3 decades ago.

But today, with maybe “just” one good academic salary, the minimum rent, no car and saving nost of everything? Difficult. Especially if you maybe wanna live while waiting for retirement. Maybe even have a car or travel.

And if you want a great retirement, you need Hobbies and hobbies cost money. Considering that mayve the government-paid retirement is probably gone or reeeeaaally bad in another 30yrs…you gotta save a looooot AND invest it furiously but safely. Which is work too.

Born in the 70s. I’ve been called gay for nearly everything i ever did in the next decades. Didn’t even understand back then why my assumed sexual orientation was something seemingly bad.

I’ve also called someone gay. He swore he was hetero but wanted to suck me off. Because dicks are so “aesthetically beautiful” while vajayays where just “disgustingly filthy axe-wounds” 😂 He quit the friendship because i thought he was gay and dared to voice it.

That was sad and the best example of what this stupid world does to people who are just slightly off the “normal” path.

A) dislike X

B) hate/despise X

C) came to the logical conclusion, that X is bad/wrong/shouldn’t be/whatever

D) genereally mistrusting against X due to a careful nature

E) have had traumatic experience with X (e.g. Being raped/attacked by a member of a specific ethnicity) and hence totally overreacting to an otherwise harmless stimulus, even forgetting the rules of civil behaviour

Those all don’t mean there’s the medical condition of a phobia for X.

A real xenophobic has an irrational fear of anything unknown/alien. Doesn’t mean the person just hates e.g. Mexicans for no real reason. It might even like them once they get to know the better, which often just won’t happen as phobics tend to avoid the cause their phobia instead of treating it.

I just dislike the lax use of medical terms until they’re bereft of any real meaning.

So, a person who yanks “speak English!” to someone, could have many reasons to do. None are neither polite nor politically correct. While the asshole is probably just the uneducated asswipe, the phobic could be helped and probably even feels bad afterwards for being so compulsive and insulting.

I never understood people instantly behaving differently the second they smell money in a person. It gets uglier the more they smell. Noone with money will ever deal with them. Never ever.

It’s epitome is this cult-like following or even worshipping of silly ass-clowns like musk.

Not everyone disliking something is necessarily phobic towards it. That’s just one possoble explanation.
