I mean I could but I have a nearly limitless supply of rabbits in my yard. Their fur makes great gifts. My plants love the compost I get from everything else. As a bonus the blood compost deters rabbits from eating my cabbage.
Funny thing, I can’t seem to find any type of vegan certification that is concerned with the use of animal byproducts or waste in fertilizer. A few specifically say they do not check fertilizer.
I do, but I do it on my terms when I know it is stable. I don’t allow anyone to push updates to my system.
I don’t remember much about my OS courses from 20 years back, but I do recall something about walls between user space and kernel space. The fact that an update from the Internet could enter kernel space is insane to me.
This is a tale as old as time. We did this in the late 90s at an office supply store. Every Sunday night changing price tags “ooh guess there will be a sale on resume paper in the next few weeks”. 1-4 weeks out we would increase prices on some items just to lower them back when the ad came out.
Well there are only 2 choices in a FPTP election system.
A better question would be what are you going to do to make sure the orange Mussolini doesn’t win?
Make sure you, your friends, and your family are Registered to vote.
Make sure everyone you know gets to the polls on our before election day.
Become a poll worker.
We need to make sure we vote in numbers too big to steal. In 2000 the election was handed to Bush by the Supreme Court because of one state. Looking at the last term, the court would absolutely find a way to shift the election to the con in chief if it was just one swing state with irregularities.
Talk to people about project 2025 and what it will mean. This is how the guardrails from 2017 are removed. This is how we start a Christian theocracy. If we vote blue all the way down, the Dems may be able to put stronger rails in place. If it’s not Project 2025 it will be Project 2029. These conservative think tanks have been doing this since Reagan, but this is by far the scariest.
Talk to friends and family about the Biden administration wins. It’s not just Biden you’re voting for, it is a continuation of his administration.
Bottom line, this is likely the most important election of many of our lives. All of us must participate.

Maybe? People willing to copy and distribute this content will always be around and you will never catch them all. People willing to pay a discount or seek not and find said content will always be around. And there will be those who will watch a show or a movie because it is freely available, who would never pay a dime for it.
They will never end piracy and I’d argue it might actually be bad for business if they did.
FYI PBS gets very little from public funding.
I think this is also an archaic model from before smart phones and the early days of smart phones. In the early days of apps, most attempted to limit data usage because most network providers charged a premium for data and the networks were much slower and smaller.
While you could tether in these early days, even before smart phones, the computer was capable of much higher data usage than the phone. These limits were put in place to protect a network that wasn’t really built for this level of load.
Old rules with good purpose turned into a way to charge more money.
Every time the ATT sales people bug me at stores I tell them what I’m paying and that I get unlimited hotspot and they usually say “oh, you’re good.”
Add to this that Fi actually allows you to add data only SIMS at no cost.
Interesting. The app isn’t actually listed anymore after whatever I did.
Never. Keep work and personal completely separate.
I checked to see if this was on my pixel 6 pro. It wasn’t but I found this.
Not something I installed and not something I would allow.
The uninstall did not appear to work UNTIL I disabled the app and cleared the data.

It might be a bit more updated than most, but in general less smart than most cars today.
By my own assessment, it’s the dumbest modern car you can get.
I’m always using assistant to play music in the car or on home speakers. Gemini isn’t able to do this. I also discovered I can’t use the Gemini app without allowing it to replace the assistant.
I will say I have had similar problems getting assistant to identify songs. It used to work pretty seamlessly.
Against all privacy recommendations I do allow my phone to id music at all times. Nice thing is I have a shortcut to history, it doesn’t always work, bit does most of the time.
Mentor of mine used to say
Developers, fix their heads, they lose their asses. Fix their asses they lose their heads.
Your comment intrigued me as there is one that is just about the opposite of yours with a slightly different take.
You are concerned with your data being used to feed a private LLM. the other comment was concerned with three conversations being hidden from the public, more specifically not searchable from the outside and therefore hiding a knowledge repository.
I get both takes but they seem to be in conflict with each other. LLMs are important for accurate and useful AI, but there should also be a way for an open community to block them from consuming their data. It seems we missed a step somewhere. Providing data to an LLM should be opt-in.
Ruby Bridges is alive and well.
