2·5 days agoThey really cant, they’re good for boilerplate but thats about it. Every example of a AI heavy code base I’ve seen has been poorly optimised security hole ridden garbage.
Based FOSS but id take the claims of coding ability with a entire salt mine, LLMs simply arent all that great in general at coding no matter what tech Bros try to tell you.

5·1 month agoPffft thats not the fun way, the fun way is to redline the engine then slam off the handbrake.
I’ve already donated a few times but this would genuinely be a good idea imo, Lemmy.ml’s userbase can likely keep it running by itself & it removes the ick factor from having any of my money go toward it and seemingly one of the more significant roadblocks to people donating.
