It’s likely not as bad as you think. :) It took a bit of adjusting for me realising I didn’t have several endless AskReddit threads a day to scroll through, but for 99% of my usage it’s great here. It’s also nice being able to interact with posts while not being one of the first commenters. I get more interactions here than Reddit. The only things I go to Reddit for are specific subreddits like dashcam videos, but that’s a once a month or perhaps less frequent affair.

I’ve found them to be pretty clear usually. Half-formed words at start/end I just ignore. Either way, even on Firefox with uBlock and all the rest, audio captchas have always passed me first try even if I think I got it wrong. I don’t like posting about it in-case they tighten it up after it gets more users.
Logically speaking, I would sit with the wolf pack. Airline seatbelts are not made for wolves and I fully believe they would not be held by such paltry restraints. This leads me to the conclusion that my demise is not only certain, but an inevitability. With this in mind I would much rather be the first victim, for my death will be quicker while they are hungrier, and I shall save myself the mental trauma of seeing them devour the poor linux user before I reach my untimely end.
They’re called Lego pieces or just “Lego”, not “Legos”. It is the official way to say it, but more importantly I got used to it while growing up. I would always say “Lego ___”, for instance Lego sets, Lego bricks, Lego pieces: “Pass me the Lego brick.” The only time I would say “Lego” is as a group: “Bring the Lego upstairs.” Everytime I hear “Legos” my eye twitches because it sounds so wrong. Not sure where I picked this up but I will die on this hill.
I propose we replace the word entirely to something easier to spell and pronounce, such as “Feby”.

I wish we had better video upload choices. I tried Streamable but they delete your videos after a few months and most of the other alternatives (Vimeo etc) are paid. I tried Peertube and my video sat in mod limbo. So I guess it’s YouTube or nothing for me?
I’ve used it extensively to recover old CSS themes, images, and read long dead websites. There are a couple of lost songs I found downloads for there too! I’ve also saved a couple of pages that I haven’t had to use but it would be useful neutral third party evidence. Is it daily? No, but it’s an absolute blessing to have.
There was a short period a few years ago after the Quantum update that I would have partially agreed, because Firefox’s renderer was much smoother. But Chrome seems to have caught up, because it’s been much faster every time I test something in it in the yesrs since.

I’ve felt that the popular subreddits were on a decline ever since Reddit was featured in so many YouTube slop videos, but with time the effect of identity loss is becoming increasingly obvious. The crowd on there is not what it used to be. Gone is the desire for accurate information, meaningful comments, sources, and giving credit. Reddit is no longer a niche product but a mainstream one that my parents and “normie” friends know and it reflects in the lower quality content and user participation.
I have a bad habit of jumping into programming without a solid plan which results in lots of rewrites and wasted time. Funnily enough, describing to an AI how I want the code to work forces me to lay out a basic plan and get my thoughts in order which helps me make the final product immensely easier.
This doesn’t require AI, it just gave me an excuse to do it as a solo actor. I should really do it for more problems because I can wrap my head better thinking in human readable terms rather than thinking about what programming method to use.
For me? Recall. I’m ordering an SSD to dual boot Linux off of and ween myself off Windows as much as I can. Probably can’t remove it as long as I want to play games* with friends, but I’d be happy to have my day to day be less awful.
* Before anyone says Proton, Wine, etc, I mean the awful multiplayer rootkits like Valorant.
