While im not a fan of the capacitive buttons on the steering wheel, I’ve gotten used to them and havent had any issues. That said, if there’s some sort of recall that swaps it out for a wheel with regular buttons, im down for that. I saw some of the newer VWs had physical buttons again, i wonder if it is just as easy to sawp like my MKV Rabbit from the bare bones to a R32 wheel?
Now the capacitive buttons below the screen could f right off lol. I barely use them. I tend to rest my hand on the top of the screen and use my thumb to navigate where i need to go. Thanks above for the travel assist mode.
Isn’t there settings so that you can stage out updates? Could have sworn they had settings that you could set groups to be on specific waves of updates. I.e. newest, next to newest, 2 versions behind, etc.
I got that reference!
Can’t do microwave popcorn. Gives me a migraine. Traditionally popped popcorn like in those little trolleys or whatever? A-OK.

I love the idea of a Steam Deck or the other portable pcs like it, but man I think it would just sit lol. The techie in me just wants it to have. Same with a VR headset. I’d play beatsaber for a bit and it would be dusty.
I still have a Steam Link, does that count? Lol
See you for the Skyrim mods!
Binged, thoroughly enjoyed and now await season2
My cousin and I have run into having to clear the cmos using the jumper in a couple of our builds before it would boot the first time too. Not sure why.
Youtube vs Ublock lets goooooooo
Yeah my employer luckily pays most of the premiums. If I lost my job and “had” to get COBRA, then what I’d have to pay would jump drastically to keep my employer based coverage or I could look at whats on the marketplace/exchange which would likely cover bare minimums, if it was even worth it at all.
It’d be worth considering dropping insurance altogether at that point as I would not have that kind of cash to continue insurance plan I’ve had.
I would rather pay higher taxes out of my paycheck if it meant EVERYONE could get healthcare, regardless if they had a job or were “legal”. Everyone’s gonna need it someday, no exceptions.
I try to vote for the candidates that have as close of values as I do, but realize not everyone running will be a 100% match.
Right, and the way things are going with “states rights” it sounds like the GOP are already going for family planning and birth control with Alabama’s Supreme Court ruling that fertilized embryos are “people”.
I pay about $220 every two weeks for my HSA “High Deductible” Plan. Twisted my ankle pretty bad last November and after a visit to the urgent care, 3 visits to a podiatrist including 2 x-rays, and the.a boot and a support wrap that were purchased with the HSA, my funds in it are now depleted and put my $600 bill on a payment plan. My wife had some extra dental visits that resulted in a root canal that wiped most of it.
I have no idea how we’re gonna pay if we have something else come up.
I make 2x the median income in my area. But between the bills, $600(!) credit card payment, student loans from 10 years ago that just don’t want to go away, I feel I’d have to find some way to add another multiplier to my income. And that’s not including worrying about my 16yo car or my wife’s 10yo one. Was hoping my promotion last year would have gave me enough leeway to replace mine, but too much debt.
Yeah certain movements feel “tight” and a bit uncomfortable to do. Figured it’d be a bit longer until i felt normal again.
I did this in November over a weekend blowing leaves and stepped off an elevated piece of my driveway (due to tree roots). Heard a snap crackle pop and couldn’t walk on it. That Monday i went to urgent care and they x-rayed me, saw a potential fracture and put me in a boot. Went to a podiatrist a few days later and said i tore some ligaments, no fracture thankfully. A month on the boot with icing, then another month using a support wrap since i just wear slip ons (unless especially wintery out) with anti-inflammatory meds and I’m now free, though still feel not exactly 100% but seems to be getting better.
What about the family sharing and all that jazz? Add kiddos account under yours and you can set age/time limits and stuff like that.

While I don’t have a Steamdeck or similar, I made myself a relatively portable Mac Mini setup with a wireless mouse and keyboard and a usb-c portable monitor.
Razer Atheris laptop mouse keychron k7 65% wireless/bluetooth keyboard.
The keychron has mac/win mode and came with a few extra keycaps for windows/mac use if it matters. Can be used over bluetooth or by cable. That one has slim profile keycaps. I really enjoy using it. I’ve seen a similar sized keyboard somewhere on amazon that also folds in half longwise to take up less space. Will probably grab one to play with.
The portable one was one I took a chance on Temu. 15” 144hz OLED that I snagged for cheap. Can be powered just on the usbc cable but also had mini hdmi and an extra usbc port. Also has a micro usb port for power if needed too.
The mouse I’ve had forever and is on the smaller side. If I’m feeling for a bigger mouse and plan ahead I also have a MX Master3 for work and a G502 Hero that I normally use at my desktop.
