Oh that’s an interesting tidbit, didn’t know that

I’m pretty sure docker recommends that it runs under WSL when on windows.
It feels like they’ve been getting devs to go through these games (including the first) to get used to how a half life game should be so they can hit the ground running when making the next one.
I remember seeing the original trailers for that and thought it looked really cool. Never got a chance to play they. Never been into this form of battle royale so I’ve never played Fortnite longer than a single match at a time for maybe 4 go’s max across the years. It’s never clicked.
I don’t know if it could be classed as patient gaming. As I understand it, patient gamers will eventually get around to current games, just not now. It doesn’t sound like she ever wants to play what’s been released now due to her skewed views
I wish we got modern crts I’d buy one in a heartbeat. It’s so hard to find a good one now that isn’t either shit or just battered to hell and back
Could they not hash the contents of the game’s folders and send that back to the server to confirm it’s not been tampered with?
I would love even just a Capcom Vs Capcom game. It doesn’t even need a third party
I use a lot of Google products. I still rate their phones as the best, recently I use a Jelly Star instead purely because i was due a new phone from my pixel 3 but every current phone from Google and it’s competitors that fit my needs are way too big.
I stopped using Google search because in the last few months I’ve started realising it’s harder to find stuff that i want/need, so i now use ddg, which isn’t better than old Google but better than current.
Outside of those though I still use my Google account as my main federated account. Still use gmail (wish inbox was still around for it though), still use chrome, and drive is my cloud storage of choice. On top of that I have 3 Google nest minis and a Chromecast with Google tv.
I may be drifting away slowly but Google still has is teeth in me and at the moment where I’m being bitten I’m fine with it. Doesn’t hurt at all
Only thing stopping me from playing this on vita is that I’m going to do my next playthrough on pcsx2 for some cheevos
Literally the only thing that stopped me from playing the latest 3 hitman games and I know offers that felt the same. I just want a game. None of that FOMO bullshit
Sonic chronicles 2?
Sadly because of the way gpu drivers are done by tweaking them to deal with the shit devs didn’t optimise means it’ll be on MS/SDs side to fix. Same reason why Intel Arc stumbled initially
Just play the games the way it feels more fun to you. All that should matter about how you play is “are you having fun?” If the answer is yes then you’re playing the game “correctly”
This is great news! Hopefully we can get some translations done for these
I would say enshitification is more specifically about a product or service getting worse itself, whereas they were talking more about the audience. The enshitification had very much likely caused the “facebookification” of Reddit but i would say by their definition they are not one and the same. They can happen independently as well as because of one another.
If there was a relevant one here I’d post here for sure. Reddit is a last resort or if I really need a response from someone sooner than later, cause there’s still more eyes on Reddit.
I go back to Reddit now from time to time. Mostly to ask specific questions in communities that are niche and don’t exist on here. They are the only good interactions I see that are just as good as here. Elsewhere it’s just different. I’ve not been able to put my finger on why, myself like. But it’s definitely not the same.
Windows open at night. Curtains or blinds shut during the day.
I don’t think another war will be called a world war anymore because of everyone’s ideas of a world war 3 being all out nuclear warfare.
