Ah so the mastodon situation. With mastodon not having features essentially which basically a lot of other alternatives have or even having their own exclusives features.

4·1 year agoWhat does the ratio mean and what is bad about preventing users from reaching one? Never used torrents in my entire life so curious what the meaning behind that is.
Can you clarify? As of my knowledge kbin doesn’t have an app yet and lemmy apps don’t support kbin.
I personally still use a patched version of Sync for reddit with my own API key. Interestingly nothing changed over time. I still have nsfw access and don’t pay anything. Wonder what’s up there but as long as that works I’m fine.
Firefish supports now all apps afaik that are compatible with mastodon. You might just not have access to certain exclusive features of the instance.
2·1 year agoInteresting read. My monitor has a 75hz refresh rate. Often i use vsync because of that since i experience tearing in some games. I don’t have the ability in any game to lock fps to 75fps unfortunately. Usually it’s either 60 or 120. And limiting refresh rate makes the colors displayed much noticeably different.
