Why would anybody want this?
You should really watch We Bare Bears.
Why would anybody want this?
Ultrakill is one of those rare examples of media where I genuinely feel a large amount of guilt if I pirate. Great community, super responsive (and largely queer) development team, incredible game…
First time in forever that I’ve actually bothered to buy a game without pirating it first. So here’s a hot take that goes against everything I usually stand for: pirating indie games is kinda bad.
With all the recent studio shutdowns and a largely saturated market, it’s becoming harder and harder for indie game developers to make a living. I hope everyone remembers to support independent projects they truly enjoy - be it music, games, or any other piece of media - because otherwise we’re going to end up with only 3 game studios that pump out the same homogeneous bullshit every year.
There’s a big difference between my phone changing caulk to cock and my phone telling me to make pizza with Elmer’s glue
Describing a high intensity DDOS attack on one of the world’s most important resources as simply “mean” is unironically one of the funniest things I’ve read this year.
Hope they get some support soon.
Well, this sucks. PayPal was great for only having your credit card information in one place - now it looks like I’ll have to risk it with every website.
Thanks, Google!
no.
Increased battery drain for diminishing returns. From the distance and screen size, it wouldn’t be that noticeable, but the performance drops would be.
I would say the biggest advantage is speed, but as someone who has use Xbox controllers for years and years, I can type pretty damn fast with a controller.
Fuck you! I need my Sprite Deluxe with 200% flavoring!
Saw the edits and I would like to congratulate you on the start of your journey.
All of the stuff you mentioned works very well - OBS is native, (and if you miss the performance of ShadowPlay, somebody made a replacement!
qBittorrent is native (and IMO the best) and the vast majority of games work on Linux now!(ProtonDB is a great resource for seeing what works and what does, and it even has a profile feature where you can plug in your Steam account username so it can automatically show you what’s compatible!)
Mods are slightly finicky, but SteamTinkerLaunch will likely be able to solve all your problems, and r/linux_gaming has numerous discussions and workarounds, including this very recent and relevant one!
Have fun, and try not to get caught up in distrohopping!
People who bought a house and went to college for the same price of college nowadays do not know what the world is like today
Yeah. I’m hoping bcachefs ends up being good.
I’ve heard Sync for Lemmy is a bit similar.
That’s weird. I’ve had zero issues with BTRFS and I have both compression and snapshots.
Have you looked at bcachefs, by the way?
Idea: Try exclusively using Lemmy for a week.
If you love it, switch. If you hate it, don’t. If you miss Reddit, use both.
Decent use case. You do use snapshots now, right?
Hm. I wonder why gamers say that.
