This isn’t a knock against opensource programming, but there shouldn’t ever be precompiled blobs in the repo unless they are the official builds for the various OS’s and if you want to build from source, the pre-compiled blobs shouldn’t be part of that, otherwise you can’t really claim you are opensource.

lol I’m as anti-capitalist as the next internet leftist, and I absolutely think it would be fucking awesome if Steam were replaced by a national digital distribution service that have flat costs for publishing, and high quality standards before allowing a game to be published. Each country is free to create whatever rules they want for their country, but for people that don’t live in those countries then there is nothing more to say. There can be voluntary international cooperation (like there is with copyrighted works) but if I live somewhere that isn’t part of that international cooperation then like it or not, I am free to violate your laws all day.

Gaming laptops have always been an extremely expensive but less capable desktop. Their portability is laughable, and pointless. Their battery life is non-existent, and if you can’t easilly move them, and you also have to plug them in all the time, then what does a laptop give you?

Not to mention their bad keyboards, bad speakers, a touchpad? and compromised screen. Not only should they be left behind, they shouldn’t have existed in the first place.

It’s actually a great game. But it’s Eurojank to the extereme. If you want a superior experience, play Gothic 2. But it’s still janky, just not as bad as Gothic 1. Gothic 3 I didn’t like at all.

Sure they are called terminals, they are for all intents and purposes modern-day terminals with a long and storied history that directly links them to terminals from the 70’s but since they aren’t a physical piece of hardware that electro-mechanically connects to a mainframe, obviously they aren’t really terminals and they should be be called something else.
