Great games if you’re a fan of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or masochism
Im on AMD so can’t help with that
Just made the switch to Nobara Linux on my desktop and ill probably go with Mint on my ancient laptop tomorrow. My only hang up was games but it seems like compatibility is a lot better nowadays so hopefully I can fully switch over. Same for windows only programs and Wine.
I believe it’s US-only for now
Aliexpress is basically amazon with longer shipping time in my experience. Each seller has their own store rating similar to ebay so as long as you exercise judgement ie. Dont buy from brand new stores with 0 feedback or things that are too good to be true and avoid certain things like batteries and storage media unless you know exactly what you’re buying you should be fine. I’ve bought a lot of stuff from there (mostly electronics) and haven’t had bad experiences
You’re already paying a car tax through income tax which goes to fund public roads that are predominantly worn out by private vehicles.
Unfortunately, a lot of economic growth historically has been tied to increased fossil fuel usage so until we can decouple the two through cleaner energy sources, the only way to maintain living standards in rich countries is the continued reliance on fossil fuels, plastics etc.
That is not to say that this is an issue that regular people need to address on an individual level but that the move toward a less poluted world involves a decreased dependence on poorer countries for the production of goods that exposes them to the majority of the health risks and harms associated with industrialization. This will most likely impact your way of life if you live in a rich country because you depend on these processes even if you’re locally poor yourself.
There is a whole other discussion to be had about wealth inequality within countries and on a global scale and how neither you nor someone from a poor country should have to worry about being able to afford a dignified, healthy life.
So I guess since we’re not wearing masks anymore we should focus on decreasing the main source of CO2 in cities being cars and other modes of transport that run on fossil fuels and impact air quality and by extension cognitive ability. Would you agree?
I could go until the late afternoon without eating with the power of nicotine. I would say it’s about the same as coffee but you can smoke more frequently than you can drink coffee (usually).
Nicotine feels great. It’s why I still crave it after giving it up a while back. Everything else involved is horrible but there’s a reason people get hooked to begin with.
Telegram channels are your best bet. Something like STL Forest or STLworld should have what you need
I happily drink instant coffee. I even prefer it to something like Starbucks coffee.
Can’t go wrong with a used T series from Ebay that’s a couple years old. A quick search shows that you can get something like this for 320USD from a reputable seller:
Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U 2.10 GHz with Radeon Graphics 16GB 256GB
8GB is too little RAM these days otherwise I would also recommend the X13 model but those start at like 600USD for the 16GB models.
Looks like they dismissed the claims in 2021 at least
Epic, C.R. and his court-appointed guardian have agreed to dismiss all claims and action
Is there precedent for suing users for cheating/griefing in your game. It sounds like it could set one if it’s a first.

I think diminishing returns make 240Hz not worth it for the average competitive player. There are 2 exceptions:
You’re very competitive
You’ve got the money to spend
Here’s one way to look at it 60Hz is 1 refresh every 17 milliseconds. At 165Hz it’s every 6ms and at 240Hz it’s every 4ms. So from that perspective whatever premium you’re paying is to have the opponent’s head appear on the screen 2ms faster (also impacted by other hardware induced delays). For context, the average person’s response time to visual stimulus is about 250ms.
It’s definitely nice to have and I haven’t gone above 165Hz myself as a disclaimer but you will need to consistently hit 240 FPS in games to make use of the extra refresh rate and that requires a beefy CPU and/or GPU depending on the game. Especially if you want your 1% lows (FPS dips) to stay above 240 as well.
To my eyes, the main benefit of a higher refresh rate for fast paced games is the smoothness of motion (at least CSGO which is what I play). If I can track an enemy’s head then I’m good and I don’t think you need 240Hz for that.
Yup you can have multiple admins for an instance.
