I am not sure. If my game is running at 30 it is usually dropping frames as well. I didn’t know nuclear Throne was 30fps for instance. That being said I don’t remember playing Nuclear Throne at all and I have 150 hours play time…

I can’t tell the difference between 60fps and 165fps unless side by side. Just throwing that out there. As long as the frame rate is stable and not hitching I can’t tell. I just don’t see a difference.

Only issue I have is the strafing runs and my friend sitting still to shoot at hordes instead of completing the objectives. They keep coming if you sit still. All 3 enemies keep coming if you sit still. Move!

But yeah. I can definitely see why you burned out when the Illuminate came. Most weapons are useless against them.

I have an IPS panel on KDE. I find I sometimes get flicker if HDR is on. Possibly it’s that? I also had this issue in Windows if I remember right.
