Love Salt’s videos. Though the length of his videos are damn near becoming marvel movie length. Good thing he makes quality content.
Privilege is a subjective concept and thus has little meaning. You can not care if you choose to. Or get worked up every 4 years when your team doesn’t win.
I still vote, but all but once in the last 20 years I’ve written in a name. When a worthy candidate from one of the two political parties is worthy of my vote, they’ll get it. Voting on state and local elections is far more important than the federal level anyway.
Since I don’t care who wins, I’ll do what I’ve done every day after an election: get up, go to work, come home, play with the kids, eat some dinner, maybe shag the wife.
Easy. Twitter is where my metal homies are. Reddit for baseball. I don’t care about the political angle of each. That’s not why I’m there.
No, the Lemmy moment is whining about capitalism, or jerking off Linux.

Also using Boost. After a few settings changes it feels just like the Boost reddit app. Love it.
I was using Boost on reddit, but their Lemmy version isn’t available yet. Read about Eternity. Thus far I have no complaints. It works.
Haha I refuse to watch that one. Cannot believe they wrote a musical for Star Trek. Ridiculous.
Couldn’t get into Lower Decks. Not interested in ‘comedy’ ST. As for SNW, I watch it, but not sold on it yet. I watched TNG episode “The Bonding” today. Nothing after ENT (S3 and S4) has approached the level of writing of that episode. Except maybe that one S2 episode of SNW. You know exactly what episode I’m talking about. It’s the only episode.
Zoomers will have a rough time rebelling when they can barely leave their home. Obviously there is some hyperbole there, but with the ability to “socialize” via online methods they are far more introverted than previous generations.
This meme is lame (as ost have been in the short time I’ve spent here). Everyone blames their parents generation for everything.
I watched it a few months ago. It has some campy moments, but that’s part of its charm. How many great movies can say the primary protagonist and antagonist never interact? Not many, I’d wager.
Oh yeah!? Well I’ve received thousands, no, millions of death threats!
Who are you people?
Agreed. The person you’re responding to thinks it’s good because most people are aligned with his/her opinions. It’s currently nothing more than a large echo chamber. A fresh injection of users will do Lemmy well for diversity of thought.
