And I wondered who in their right mind would buy just half of that best friends forever charm.
anyone who would like to joke with their depression. I can imagine doing that.
now I actually want something like this

because it’s much less important and so much less risky
most crypto is useless and practically a scam, it’s a rabbit hole in itself to find a worthy one. paying for vpn with crypto only helps if you use an untraceable crypto
if I would recommend one, it’s Monero, because it’s private by default and untracable, but nobody should believe me without doing their own research. I mean it.
don’t forget that the new outlook app right out steals the login details to your email accounts, along with all emails you will send and receive even after uninstalling that malware:

yeah they are pretty good apps! basically a must-have for protests, if you bring a smartphone. maybe for traveling too, in case it’s stolen
samsung devices are still a different beast, they have their unique little everything and the standard tools don’t work there
speaking of that.
this can wipe your phone on a trigger, or lock it with a different code, or send a broadcast message that other apps can act on: Wasted (Lock a device and wipe its data on emergency) https://f-droid.org/packages/me.lucky.wasted/
this reads the screen to see if you have used a special unlock code: Duress (Duress password trigger) https://f-droid.org/packages/me.lucky.duress/
read the app description of both, there’s important information
isn’t this prone to a

or something similar at the end of the URL?
if you can docker exec
, you have a lot of privileges already, so be sure to make sure this is not a danger
For the same reason spyware and adware is not anymore malware categories scanned for by antivirus software: our fucked up economy, and because average people accept everything no questions asked.
The anti cheat software’s code is in a separate file from the game files, which malware can ship themselves.
Maybe it could become a nickname for I2P
I don’t understand it either, I think your post is fine.
It may be useful to know: I see that you received 4 other replies here, but I can’t load them. Afaik this is caused by instance blocks. Every instance has some other blocked, some less, some more, often with a reason. If you really want to read such comments you could try to look up your post on an other instance that does not block those, but you can also see (somewhere) the list of what instances have yours blocked, and you can have personal instance blocks too.
Mostly the reason for blocks is spam from that other instance, bad intentioned users possibly even ban evading when the instance does not have appropriate registration rules, and some instances have an agenda they want to shout loudly, which is often not at all friendly, and sometimes because of unwanted (porn), illegal (child porn), or relatively-dangerous-to-host (piracy) content.
The gist is that these instance blocks is often not arbitrary, but that ofc depends on your admins.
but if they were trying to conceal it from you then that might be a bad sign.
Not at all surprising move from a FAANG company. Fucking people over is in their blood.
That doesn’t matter because they won’t be here by the time that happens
Doesn’t help with the bloated web and local webapps, though. Also, you’ll need to choose from a set of desktop environments that were made with lower resource usage in mind. Also don’t forget that while linux is often faster, a slow drive is still a slow drive and it can help only so much if you keep your OS and heavyweight software on a HDD.
It could be a good idea to move more critical things to a different machine. It’s often said that you shouldn’t run your router and/or firewall on your main server, but I think there are also security reasons for that.
Or to move those to a low power consumption machine with cheaper hardwRe that are either more resource friendly, or very heavy but it’s fine if they can only finish their task over a longer time.
Also, think about how could things go wrong. Have a second DNS and DHCP server (it’s difficult to run a secondary DHCP besides the primary, maybe you don’t need that), and some way you can reach the internet if the router or the firewall gets borked. That “way” does not need to be accessible at all times, but you should be able to switch it on when needed.
Don’t forget to test that these are actually working after you have sweet them up.
Whatever you decide on, don’t forget that you don’t have to do everything at once. Don’t let it overload you. Learning new tech takes time.
It’s not weird when they are saying weird things and you want to find out about their motives.
Companies doing an IPO are not public companies (yet)
you don’t have to be imprisoned to have your life ruined. there are many relatively subtle ways to do that
