Personally I have zero interest in influencers and I’d rather use a platform that isn’t designed to amplify their content. That’s just me.

They give your phone number to telemarketers and say “please don’t call this number”. I doubt anyone in the government follows up and punishes any telemarketers that ignore their strong request.

Because Google don’t want you to export your photos. They want you to depend on them 100%.

Sounds like they’re reaching feature parity with Apple and Google. Both already do that so I’m not surprised. I never use Microsoft’s App Store so I’ll never see them.

Do you have room for 2 SSDs in the case? If so, install windows on one and Linux on the other. Then set the BIOS to boot from the Linux disk and grub will let you decide which OS to boot from. This way, windows won’t interfere with Linux.

I’ve been using this for months and it works well. Except when I hit a Debian bug that configured grub to not look for OSes on other drives! But that was fixed.

I get occasional spam messages on LinkedIn from people that paid to spam me. It’s annoying, but not a big deal. I found a new job by keeping track of companies posts on LinkedIn. I tried their free premium option when I was job hunting but it was a waste of time.

I don’t know any kids that use twitter. They all use Snapchat.

This is the key point for alternatives. None seem to have the community and support (docs, s/w quality etc) that is remotely close to that of the Raspberry Pi.

I lost 40lbs on keto and after the first week of keto flu, I felt great. No sugar crashes, no energy level drops and overall, more energy than usual. I stopped after six weeks as I couldn’t deal with the lack of flavour and texture in the food I was eating. I reached a good weight that I’ve maintained, 7 years later.

One thing it taught me, was to reduce the amount I eat and to balance things out if I eat more carbs than usual.
