Not easy to switch a secured 4,000+ workstation business. Plus, a lot of companies get their support, license, and managed email from one vendor. It’s bundled in such a way that it would cost MORE to deploy Linux. (And that very much on purpose)
I feel like I’m bracing for impact. I think it’s gonna get a lot fucking worse.
30 miles south of LA, my choices were:
The TMo had more than double the speed. We need competition in this space. All the legacy companies are fat, slow, and lazy.
Yeah, I know. What of it?
Keep in mind that though this is a blow to the industry, it’s not like optical media is just yet dead. Hell, there are still new releases to DVDs coming out today.

Admittedly, I bought an Nvidia card for AI. I am part of the problem.
It never went away.
Like, literally no one is stopping you from using Adobe stuff. No need to be salty, you do you. ✌
There will be some growing pains, but the x86 compatibility layers are getting surprisingly good. Personally, other than Steam, I don’t have any software this is incompatible with ARM.
My desktop was given to me by my job. My laptop, I rode a bicycle to my friends house and paid him cash. What does that have to do with my promotion of being Adobe free?
how we ride bikes without smashing our balls
I’m a man and I… I don’t know…
No car, no problem.
