And if you disable animations, you still have to wait for focus. But the worst behavior is when you minimize a window and later cmd+tab to it and all windows just lose focus.

There is no issue using separate data disk for both systems. Just be carefull not to delete data from it during installation. I would detach it until everything is installed and then attach it and mount.

Install Windows on a separate SATA drive so you can remove it later without repartitioning. Also it is easier to boot, just change boot drive on startup.

Probably systemd panicked because disk id has changed. Not a reason to stop booting but that is why people hate it. Tries to handle everything, badly.

Better use FHD png to keep the quality.
