I’m personally subbed to !comics@lemmy.ml and !comicstrips@lemmy.world. I know there’s more communities out there but I found any more than those 2 and there was too much overlap.

Can’t say I’ve ever come across that sort of thing but I mostly just read comics and memes on here

Depending on your client or UI, there should be a sidebar or something of the like that will list who the mods are, and you can message one or more of them from there. I’m not aware if there’s a way to send a single message that goes out to all mods of a community at once rather than messaging them individually.

As for #2, I think it has to do with how federation works. In my experience your subscription should still work even though it says it’s pending.

I can’t say I’ve ever encountered much “workplace drama” in my life. When I worked in call centers there would’ve never been time to find out anyone’s opinion on anything. Of course then you trade drama for the stress of the job.

Now I’m back to food service, and other than most of my coworkers not being invested enough to put in their full effort, it’s pretty good. Aside from one person, I don’t really know anything about anyone’s lives that I don’t want to and I’m quite happy with that.

I like watermelon for the first 1.2 seconds where it actually has flavor. Though I did see a picture floating around Lemmy here that made me think the watermelons I’ve had that gave me that opinion were probably a quantity vs quality issue.
