Is there any ranking of ‘most pirated game’ tracked by leechers accross to top indexes?
I remember FIFA being the first thing everyone pirated when I lived in the dorms in University.
This is really sad to see – I absolutely loved PD2 at release. It’s some of the most fun co-op moments I’ve ever had in a game (maybe even the best).
I also played the beta and enjoyed the refined experience, but have still been working through BG3 and Starfield, so I decided to hold off on playing. Was hoping for a smooth release for everyone excited to play the game, so it’s disappointing to see how terrible the experience has been at launch.
Probably doesn’t need to be said at this point, but HL2 has such a timeless look that even the original graphics still look great to me.
Perhaps that makes it a great candidate for technology like this, as the underlying assets are fantastic.
I would go for PC, simply for the fact that you can get a Quake 2 key for super cheap, and the upgrade is free on PC for existing owners.
Also Xenia Canary is a much better expierience than emulatoing Switch
I have enjoyed the 2 new Modern Warfares – I played Cod-MW3 growing up, but only the campaigns, so MW2019 was my first MP COD, and I had a lot of fun for what it was. Warzone was also the first BR that appealed to me, and I ended up playing a lot of it as well. I’d guess I completed 3-4 battlepasses before I realized I wasn’t enjoying myself anymore
I skipped BO3 and Vanguard, but by the time MW2 was coming out last year, I had the apetite to try CoD again, and the campaign was okay (not as good as MW2), and I enjoyed the MP about 2/3s as much as I did MW2019. I had some fun with the extraction game mode, and finished the S1 battlepass, but haven’t come back since.
Another MW3 so soon feels like a misstep here. I am curious about the campaign, since it seems like they’re mixing some cool setpiece levels from MW2+3, but that’s not worth full price to me.
Anyway, just my view as a casual COD player.
At some level, even a “DRM Free” game like The Witcher could still be argued as having DRM since you need to authenticate your purchase with steam to download it.
I’d agree - SkillUp’s channel (including FPS), and Digital Foundry’s DF Weekly covers pretty much all my gaming needs with their content.
I’ve never heard of that one, but I personally enjoyed The Outer Worlds, but got it in the recent Humble Monthly. Was hoping for Outer Wilds when I first saw the listing.
Yeah I kinda thought Battlebit Remastered would be the Unity, Early Access, Indie hit of 2023.
Basically the equivalent of “we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.”
Artemis is now available (Play Store link), but I completely agree that the lack of maturity in apps make Kbin a less compelling offer. It’s still my usualy way to browse from my desktop though.
I heard that they are pushing an FSR update in time for the PS5 release. Hopefully that fixes things up.
This is what I’m interested in too. I have a tab S7+ but would prefer a smaller form factor with a great screen.
Controllers in general are also extremely accessible, and expandable for those that might struggle using a tradtional mouse and keyboard.
