That being a “nice guy” isn’t a selling point, it’s the bare fucking minimum.
I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.
The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.
That being a “nice guy” isn’t a selling point, it’s the bare fucking minimum.
Salt.
There are a lot of ways to interpret this question, it really depends on the information and the people.
Hence why OP is asking for better ways to communicate.
:P
Books, not just reading but long form text. If someone doesn’t want listen, then they won’t even if they pretend otherwise.
So if a talented author puts out a message, the reader has to continually choosing to read, intake and process what is being communicated. It’s easy to tune out of conversation, videos or lectures without realizing it. But if you make it to the end of the page and don’t know what just happened, it’s entirely at your discretion to go back and reprocess. Infinitely repeatable while requiring constant buy-in without the concept of just waiting out the duration while thinking of other things. To my mind, if you want to understand a complex idea than books are easily the best method.
Was the call noteworthy in someway? Like a prank or something? Or was management just worried about some breach of privacy?
While still hating this living dystopia, I do appreciate some of cyberpunk headlines we get.
Train to Busan is without a doubt the best zombie movie I have ever seen.
when I’m about to have them hundreds of dollars getting my busted-ass, POS car fixed?
As someone who has only ever driven broken down POS, I feel for you OP. Focus on getting it running, not making it perfect. Wishing you well and hoping it’s cheap! <3
ask anything with privacy
It’s absolutely NOT private.
Because I used an iPhone for most of my life and then realized what a walled isolated island it was. Android offers infinitely more freedom and I would never go back. The mere fact that you can’t entirely customize an iPhone hoke screen is still shocking to me.
Clyde Prestowitz, president of the Economic Strategy Institute, went so far as to call the Defense Department lazy. He says the Pentagon should leverage the fact that “for companies in those areas, to have big business with the U.S. Department of the Defense is important.”
“I could’ve swore we had more influence than that. Amercia is still the world leader right? …right!?”
“Run Aloy! I see the shadow of a T-rex on the horizon, if we hurry it will be 6 episode before it catches up!”
That’s a shame… and also probably for the best.
Okie dokie. Didn’t really think so, but it’s by far the best app I have used with essentially no pay well so I figure I’d mention it for anyone else who sees this thread.
Well, I know this won’t be useful for a lot of people. But HER is a femme focused app (but open to all queer folk) that is super duper generious with the amount matches and chat it allows.
Maeby: And the worst part is he thinks he’s passing.
Yes, her motivation was make Steve Holt not interested but fundamentally the joke is that Steve wouldn’t be attracted to trans woman, which is what happens. Which honestly makes the whole joke worse.
And even if you don’t care about that, Maeby’s motivation doesn’t matter because she still uses transphobia as a way to harass Lindsey behind her back.
I honestly find the whole thing so upsetting and not even remotely funny.
On arrested development I skip the story arc of episodes related to Maeby tricking people in to thinking her mom is trans so they can be awful to her.
There is a lot of casual transphobia that was common at the time, but I just can’t fucking stand those scenes.
You can think that, but understand that it is a theory that the government is conspiring to keep knowledge tech the public.
Look, I can’t and won’t try to change your mind, seems like you have already decided it’s happened. But you should understand that their is no evidence to believe in telepathy. That doesn’t mean impossible, but if you choose to believe it is possible AND invented in the early 90s that is entirely a you choice. Much like choosing to believe in god.
So sure, believe whatever. Just know that without evidence it will be difficult to get serious people to take you serious.
Yes, they were programs that were carried out.
No, they did not prove telepathy, mind control or anything of the sort.
So I believe in aliens only in a statistical sense. There is a lot of space out there so SOMETHING has to be elsewhere. But those same stats tell me that the odds of it being intelligent is low, intelligent enough to contact us very low, existing at the same time as us (since we are a blip in the history of the universe) astronomically low and having the ability, or desire, to travel to us hilariously, laughably, insanely low.
I don’t think people who say aliens have been to earth are serious people. Sorry.
