Do you know of a way for those of us only on mobile to move subs over?

On the very slim chance someone else is curious about the work of art I did an image search :

Semi-related, my dad taught me if no one was hurt/nothing bad happened to start with that. Like if a friend was in a car accident I start “Everyone is ok, but Michael got rear ended this morning” or “There was minimal damage thankfully, but a tornado went through Jessica’s neighborhood last night”. No point in making someone go through that roller coaster.
Besides, sync was always monetized, and everyone that was asking/begging Dawson to migrate the app knew that. The only people surprised are people that didn’t use it to begin with, and aren’t going to use it now.
I’m an iPhone user so never had Sync, but even I’m confused about how upset people are. It’s like they’re trying to be offended on behalf of Sync users? Like…Sync users aren’t forced to use it and aren’t forced to pay for it. They choose to because they like the app and appreciate what the dev does. I loved Apollo and while I know Christian isn’t going to make a Lemmy app, if he did I would pay for it/pay for an ad free version because I know he does good work and I like his product.
Oh god does it not even have adjustable font??
Not sure if you’re serious or I’m wooshing, but yep. Some people apparently partly stand (not like all the way up afaik) to wipe.
It seems like many of the “all desktop people” don’t know the “all mobile people” exist, and many of the all mobile people don’t know the desktop people exist. I’ve seen some discussions in PC-centric communities shocked to hear how few people even have a laptop let alone a full PC anymore. It’s like the sitting vs standing wiping people used to not know each other existed before the internet blew up about it.
It also means people trying to share posts with friends will have trouble. If someone sends me a link that insists I open in app I’ll either ask the sender to just screenshot it or pretend I looked.
I haven’t been to squabble since about a week after it opened. What happened to it?
Whenever I go over there it always feels like they just like to listen to themselves talk. :(
Unfortunately it wasn’t just rich idiots, but any idiots with disposable income. Only the rich million-dollar NFT garbage made the news, but plenty of “normal” folk lost money with the junk too.
I’ve never done it myself but I’ve watched videos where people do it and once you know how it’s not terribly time consuming. It’s the learning how!
I think it’s carved fruit, not an actual toy. Haha
Yeah I live by myself and during the week only cook dinner plus snacks, so it takes me 3+ days to fill it up enough to justify running it and even then it starts it get…iffy.
Same. I hate driving as well, I can’t imagine driving somewhere for 4 hours, doing something, then turning around and driving back another 4 hours the same day.
I’m for crediting original sources, but I don’t see it as a rule in the sidebar? But I’m also browsing on mobile and I know us mobile users sometimes can’t see things.
my second objection is that that copying bash entries is meaningless activity - everyone can just go to where they already are to see them.
Couldn’t this be said of…anything posted to an aggregator site? A large chunk of Lemmy (and Reddit) is screenshots of other sites.
and last - that post was not funny when it was new and time did not help it 🤷♂️
A lot of stuff posted to Lemmy isn’t funny to me either but my opinion doesn’t matter much.
Not sure if I’m wooshing or you’re serious about being this particular about this post.
I think they’re referencing the phrase “flight straight up” and joking that the flight was going “straight up” in the air and not a modifier akin to “really and truly”.
That’s wild your app was displaying photos sideways. 🥴
What blows my mind is I think they would have been moderately successful if they just said you need to have Premium to be able to use third party apps. I used Reddit for HOURS a day. Honestly it was bad. I wouldn’t have liked it but I probably could have justified to myself paying a small fee per month to be able to continue using Apollo if they had played their cards right. Instead I haven’t been back since before the blackout. 🤷🏻♀️ I should thank spez for cutting my addiction cold turkey.
Thanks, I know how to create a new account on a new server, I just hoped for an easy way to move all my subs.
