Firefox + Old Reddit + Oldlander extension allows me to survive on that platform. I mostly cycle between Linux or computing related communities so I was unaffected by corrupt admins. My “engagement” is trying to answer questions and learning rather than discussing so I don’t boycott reddit.
Webkit based browsers like safari and gnome web are your only options if you don’t want derivatives.

You have both upvotes and downvotes so I will assume you are not the only one with these problems. In my experience Reddit website either glitches itself or glitches Safari every now and then.

FF users include both normal people and freaking evangelists trying to spread privacy.
Delete unused BTRFS snapshots. Enable compression by setting flags on /etc/fstab and run btrfs defrag to compress existing snapshots.
Better organization and backup / restore. For example if you want to restore config files but don’t want to move over the large “.local” folder, applications that write to $HOME will create diifculty.
iOS has auto update for a while and iOS users update their devices more often than Android. 2 weeks is not a long time for adoption of new version for iOS.
