Interesting, I had not heard that, I just found the videos impressive.

People post YouTube content for every new build. It has gotten very good over the last year or so, even in cities. It still needs a bit of work but appears to drive almost human.
I do not have a Tesla but I am considering buying an EV. Teslas are the best EV, especially now that the self driving stuff works. Elon is the only thing steering me elsewhere.
Also, imagine buying one a few years ago and wanting to make the decision based on the technology or the environment. These people make a huge investment, possibly even with good intentions, and buying a new car is not cheap. Cut them a break.
I think it would depend on the level of the account. They have that feature for compliance reasons in heavily regulated industries.
Probably the first time they have paid attention to Skype.
I was always more of a dos/win95 and then Linux person but I did appreciate the Apple vibe and what they were trying to do with their ecosystem in terms of usability. The Wintel monopoly was a scourge but you’re right, Steve Jobs was also terrible.
They used to be cooler and their products have always provided a superior experience. They were counter culture in the 80s, 90s and 00s with their bluebox roots, anti-IBM/anti-Wintel marketing, tiny market share and focus on creators and education.
Now that they are successful they are essentially using Microsoft’s old playbook and bullying everyone into using their products. Really makes me sad.
Only a matter of time before they move the goal posts again to protect their monopoly. Tim Cook is a bully.
It sucks, but at least it’s in a centralized location. Back in the INI file days you’d have to set the config in various places. Which, come to think of it, is kind of how things work in Linux.
Related to the OPs problem, do you know if there is a Startup folder in Windows still? Back in the Windows 95 days we could just drag a BAT script to that folder and it would always run on login.
Registry keys are inferior but they do exist. The last time I used Windows I just had to set some magic reg keys and it was easy to make that happen.
If you want that sensory deprivation feeling, you have to control the air temperature as well and keep it in the dark, and it’s larger than a big tub. There is a company that makes a sensory deprivation float tent that will sell you all of the parts and salt. I looked into it a bit after enjoying my local float place. Maintaining the filters, the pH and dealing with the hundreds of pounds of salt seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
The float place near me uses something like 1200 pounds of Epsom salt in a tank that is maybe twice the volume of my bathtub. Then they also regulate the temperature within the tank, both air and water, to be close to normal skin temperature. I’m not sure it’s practical.
Coming soon, everything is corrupt, I have to delete the .metadata dir regularly, but it’s faster.
How do you get banned?
Seems entirely reasonable to me, depending on the country it costs them extra to route your calls overseas to another network.
How long did it take for them to turn it off?
I want a Boston Dynamics
“Virtue signaling” is just having morals that other people find out about. Be better.
You’re having the same conversation with me on multiple threads and it’s me who is thick? It seems like you’re personally insulted when someone does not choose the tech stack that you identify with. It’s a language, not a religion, you’re going to be ok. I have my reasons not to like it and you do not have to approve. Get over yourself.
I have gotten similar responses about the quality of FSD from multiple people, even got the one from you that you have since deleted. Are you really this unoriginal and self important?
