Absolutly love this game, great replayability.
I have just discovered Card quest which is taking up a lot of my spare time at the moment.

Is that Noel Fielding?
Yep, that’s close enough. Although we mostly use a gamma radiation source as x-rays are electronically generated, we aren’t near a plug and the equipment is often cumbersome.
There are portable x-ray generators that run off a 20v dewalt battery. But their effective penetrative power means it’s only viable for very thin walled pipes.
Not quite. We climb / rappel structures, mostly oil rigs. And use a gamma radiation source to check for weld defects.
We’re known as bombers because the source container, a techops sentinel 880 or a SCAR projector look a lot like bombs and we blast radiation all over the place causing issues to the nucleonic sensors so over the place.
I’m a rope access industrial radiographer.
Edit: colloquially known as a “bomber”

Here here! I also am not a big fan of chocolate, but dark chocolate, with chilli! Ooh la la.
The lead engineer at a site I work on from time to time is on a 3 on 3 off rotation (weeks) on an offshore oil rig.
It turns out he was having to miss some of his trips because he had to ‘look after his ailing father’.
It turns out he was spending this time working another lead engineer job, for the same oil company but in a different country.
He got away with it for months until some issue came up and he had to call into the office and they noticed his number was from another country, Saudi Arabia.
Haven’t been back to that site in a while so I don’t know what happened to him but he’s certainly not working there any more.
Bad motherfucker by biting elbows.
Oh wait they did, it’s Hardcore Henry
Try a tab of lsd and go for a nice walk in the woods
I travel a lot for work with a not very big weight allowance so it has replaced my laptop as my daily machine.
I game on it, use it for discord and dndbeyond to play dnd at work, have jellyfin on it to stream media to my phone+ar glasses, and use it to access my home server to deal with downloads and my main jellyfin server.
It’s an awesome tool.
Not the first time I saw snow as I grew up on the Scottish Highlands and have had it since a baby, but I do remember someone else’s.
My parents had a guest house and I remember one Christmas eve day around the living room with my family on Christmas Eve when it starts dumping snow, “nice, it’ll be a white Christmas” we all thought.
Then we heard a bunch of noise coming from the front car park, we peak out the curtains to see a family staying with us from somewhere is Africa, I can’t recall where but it was obviously their first time seeing snow, they were so excited, running outside on their pyjamas at 2300.
They were making snowballs, rolling around in the snow trying to make snow angels and on their hands and knees making snowmen.
My family just watched and chuckled as those outside slowly realised how cold and wet snow is. Within minutes the whole family was drenched and shivering and running back inside.
But for them it was a magical moment, makes me smile thinking back to it.
36, Scotland. Been driving almost 20 years manual. Briefly had an automatic Volvo XC90, it was great, didn’t have to put down my cup of tea while approaching roundabouts.
Ha I thought for a second your age was in the 90’s, but then I considered it more likely that you were born in the 1990’s, right?
