now i found it its in the cards section in launcher settings you have to disable labels

And the icons in the search bar look way cooler without text. I have no idea how i enabled the text on my end.

over all it seems to work just fine, gowever each time i start it there is a bunch of api errors that dont seem to impact the overall functionality. idk its a bit wierd.

i usually just use tubular(soft fork of new pipe) and pipepipe which is a hard fork of newpipe

I remember these scams where you had to put in you phone number then reply to a text message and then you would automatically subscirbe to a contract for apps that are free anyways and not even the oddicial repo.

Also for obvous reasons it woukd not work.
