That was the first instance out there, so amany early adopter communities are hosted there. I’ve blocked a handful problematic users and all the communist stuff and other topics I don’t agree with or care about, but by and large it’s alright.
Hexbear.net and lemmygrad.ml are instances I’ve blocked altogether.
You can add the function easily using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.llamalab.automate, no root needed.
Don’t they auto update the OS when connected to a charger? But even then, that would have triggered a reboot already.
I’ll find one for you later, just heading to the office. But from working as a financial auditor in the past, I know that the AML provision used to be 10k EUR for transfers abroad, and was later increased to 12.5k EUR.
So you don’t have an answer, that’s what I thought.
Anti-money laundering provisions in the EU have been adjusted several times though, so there’s a precedent.
It’s impossible to define the amount in relative terms such as “average EU monthly salary +25%”, because that would simply make it impractical in everyday use when the amount changes every month.
Ok then please tell me how that affects your privacy, and what level of control it gives someone?
I’m a huge privacy advocate, but on this issue I’m with the regulators. 3k EUR is plenty. More than the harmonized monthly average salary of the EU, in fact, which sits at below 2,200 EUR (source).
So people who value their privacy that much can easily receive their salary in cash and take care about their daily expenses without compromising anything.
For the odd purchase beyond that, the integrity of our society prevails. Money laundering and tax evasion are a major concerns everywhere in the world. Your advocacy pro-privacy actively harms honest taxpayers and governing bodies.
The internet helps with reading/writing mostly, and that comes with the benefit of looking things up when needed, which you really can’t do in a normal conversation. But yeah it has most certainly improved. I think it’s now also mandatory as a first foreign language, back when I started high school in 1994 we were still given the option to start with French or Latin instead (with English as a mandatory second language from grade 7 then).
But don’t quote me on that, I haven’t had anything to do with the German school system after graduation, it’s mostly hearsay.
Schmalz ist aber grease, nicht crease. Also Innenfalz vielleicht…
War die erste Community, die ich blockiert hab. Erst auf .de, jetzt auf .org. So einen Blödsinn muss ich mir echt nicht geben.
English is on the curriculum of all schools as a mandatory subject, but learning it in school =/= speaking proficiency. That usually comes with a ton of practice, and not all that many of us are exposed to English on a daily basis, even less so in lower income strata.
There’s no Amazon where I live right now, but if I were to return to an Amazon country, I’d probably use it again. The convenience is hard to beat.
Need for Speed: Underground 2
That depends on your local laws. We don’t know where you live.
Oh nice, I’ll look into that launcher. Been using Wolf for a bit, but it’s too barebones for my liking.
Ah neat, I’ll look those up. Thanks a lot!
Not American, so please take this with a grain of salt; but from what I hear she was campaigning in 2020 and dropped out early in favor of Biden because her support in the population was miniscule. So I can imagine they are quite wary whether the perception has changed to the point of her being able to actually win the election.
I wasn’t entirely sincere in my comment.
