I’ve been growing out my beard recently. Similar to women with long hair, maintaining a beard can be a lot of work. Typically, if I see someone else with an epic beard, I try to acknowledge it. Clearly they care about it.
Also, when I see a dad out with a young child alone, if they are trying at all, I will try to acknowledge it. I feel like most dads are in a situation where they are uncertain about what they are doing. Let me know that they are friggin’ nailing it.

Having once upon a time overfilled my oil by almost a quart, I think you are mostly right.
Engine oil should stay in the crankcase. During normal operation, some of it is pumped elsewhere to lubricate the crankshaft, cams, and other mechanical components. The rest of the oil sloshes and splashes around the crankcase keeping everything slippery. If there is too much excess in the crankcase, components moving can push the oil somewhere it shouldn’t be.
In my case, when turning left, the excess oil was pushed passed the piston rings and burned in a huge cloud of blue smoke. It wasn’t a proud moment, but stopping in a random service station and having Bruce try to drain a quart of oil out of the engine, because I couldn’t afford a full oil change was awkward.
… Anyway: all of that to say this:
If you have too little, your oil pressure light will probably come on. If you have too much, you’ll notice it somewhere else.
I’ve taken drugs and didn’t really like the experience. I know some people who think they are a lot of fun. If you are taking drugs because you think it makes you cool, I think you are doing it wrong.
Somewhat the opposite. My mom started “borrowing” money from me when I was a teenager. I was too trusting, but eventually i learned to say “no”.

I forgot to explain why borrow was in quotes. Most of the time I never got paid back. I still believe she intended on paying me back, but was never able to get ahead financially enough to do it. In general if she borrowed less than $100 she’d get it back to me and pretty quickly. Over $100 it would take her too long to save it up and she’d forget about it.
What about phrasing it so the effort isn’t on you, but them?
“I’ve never really felt comfortable around [describe group]”. This way, the failure isn’t yours to get comfortable, but on them to mwake you comfortable.

Find a purpose that motivates you. For some people that is exploring, for others it is expressing themselves creatively, or helping people, or fighting for a cause you believe in, or trying to make the perfect baked potato.
I don’t know your specific limitations. Perhaps there is motivation in overcoming them, or helping others so they won’t have them too?
You were a little sparse with details, and I trust you have your reasons. Depending on this situation this advice could be pretty insensitive. My goal is not to offend or upset. I hope I haven’t.

Before I had a kid, I heard this was a thing, but didn’t really care as I didn’t really have a desire to be around kids. Once I became a father, I realized a lot of people make strange assumptions about men around small humans. Its certainly not most people, but definitely some, and definitely not just online.
That is a tough situation.
How about “Jesus, put the weights down occasionally and leave some pussy for the rest of us!”? It acknowledges your effort, but is clearly they are not trying to hit on you.
