By “Anywhere” they mean that the plugin works with the following tested federated platforms:
Mastodon
Pleroma/Akkoma
friendica
Hubzilla
Pixelfed
Socialhome
Misskey
Firefish (rebrand of Calckey)
I’m definitely implementing this on my blog, even if it’s just so I can see my own posts on Mastodon and Lemmy.
Not lemmy yet, masto n misskey somehow works but i can’t see all the post.
A potential workaround: quote-repost your blog post via Akkoma or Firefish, mention the community you want to post the blog post on, and add the title on the beginning
I’m not sure federating is retroactive on any of these platforms. (EDIT: Except possibly Akkoma?)
So any posts you made prior to installing the plugin won’t show up anywhere outside of your actual WordPress blog.
Don’t seem so. At least for the moment.
That would be spammy and would blow up most people’s feed.
I saw one guy publishing his whole backlog and he took up like 50 posts on the feed and I was just like “really dude?”.
