            These comments where a bit selfish but GrapheneOS really is worlds ahead of LineageOS.

              That might very well be, but their target audience is tiny, since they refuse to support anything but Pixel phones

                Which sucks, because their features would also make other devices more secure. But at the same time they would

                • need substantially more resources (I think supporting Google phones is really easy, as they get full security patches for everything)
                • need to lower their security level a ton

                No device needs even their basic requirements which are not even that high.

                And even then the said points would be a problem

      They’re different projects with different goals. Graphene is more private & secure if that’s the thing that matters to you. Lineage supports far more devices

          Graphene prioritizes security above everything else. This means that it does thinks like ship proprietary software if they think it will boost security. Lineage os is designed to be a Linux distribution for phones and is focused on providing a system that is all free software (excluding firmware). It doesn’t kill off support for devices and is designed to be tweaked and doesn’t support bootloader relocking out of the box.
