I have two states.
0 equals “I have no idea what I’m doing”. 1 equals “I have no idea why this works”.
Binary ops withstanding.
I do my bool operations like !=
between one and zero
The third state is knowing just enough to confidently break things and push to prod.
I know just enough to push to prod and break everything
The amount of overscopes I have because something that was suppose to be simple ended up taking too long is too damn high!

Hah. My default state is “I know this is shite and I have a million ideas how to do this better, but it is the best I can do in the time that I have to complete this.”
This also works with other fields. I’m pretty sure I’ll have these confidence swings my whole life regardless how good I get at anything.
