  • You have some options, I guess (and I’m assuming that you are sideloading to Android):

    • That one app repository called “G**gle Play”
    • Sites dedicated to keeping copies of APKs from that repo. There’s only APKmirror that I trust.
    • FFUpdater, an app for downloading and updating Firefox, Chromium and their forks (including Bromite). The app is also available on F-Droid.
    • Fennec F-Droid, a fork of Firefox without proprietary blobs that Mozilla added into the official Firefox releases. Also available on F-Droid.

  • 84436@lemmy.worldtoMemes@lemmy.mlFirefox is the only way.

Sorry Firefoxbros, I went back to Bromite on Android (unless Mozilla releases an update that adds unrestricted WebExtension support on mobile). Honestly, somehow Chromium-based browsers feel smoother on my phone than Firefox.

I’m still in love with Firefox desktop btw. Ain’t no other browsers on the market that has containers (and temporary containers!). Also the fact that Firefox desktop UI is just one giant HTML page that can be rethemed using custom CSS (userChrome.css) makes it awful for performance, but I adore that awfulness.
