Just Another Person on Lemmy
Debian.
Yeah it was unfortunate because of their (basically) no returns policy I didn’t want to roll the dice on a second one.
Armbian was the most promising when I had mine, but still wasn’t ready. I just couldn’t get into manjaro, but every time I loaded a new OS the screen would die, come back, flciker and a “shadow” around the perimeter of the screen.
I remember getting a PineBook Pro when it came out. Seemed like a great machine but the screen failed in less than a week. Thankfully they refunded me but it was disappointing.
I’ll have a flip phone again… One day…
Hmm… Like this? “Don’t worry Honey, I won’t tell anyone about the porn I found on your computer. Just be safe and know real women can’t do that.”
Last time I tried to introducing my family to an alternate messaging that wasn’t the default app on their phone I started getting messages in both places with no rhyme or reason to why they would use one over the other.
That looks like a a great way to torque the port and break the solder joint.
Hyatt is the one who kicked off this whole process. We started with them and were very disappointed.

I’m at a Red Lion right now and it is not well maintained. But Google isn’t telling me how many stars it has, it only brings up reviews. How do you tell how many stars a hotel has?
That was me until my priorities shifted, (had kids, camera became the priority) that was when I went full convert and got Bluetooth earbuds because the USB-C ones sucked.
Any mainstream distro should work I feel like. I’m not familiar with Fedora Silverblue so I can’t say anything about it.
I’ve also never had any issues with my laser Brother printer.
I worked at a 3rd party Apple retailer (they had a legacy contract from the 90s that only expired about 5-10 years ago) and they bought the cheapest RAM they could find to upgrade the Macs. They made hand over fist on RAM upgrades and still came in under what Apple charged for the same upgrade.
I had the same exact thoughts when the first twitter migration happened. I doubt we will see it, but I can dream.
For some reason the software inserted the “undefined” when I tried to quote your post. Growing pains of a new site I guess.
undefined> Successful businesses also allocate capital optimally, build formidable brand and product moats, hire amazing managers and build fortified balance sheets. They forgot to do all that stuff. (See also: reddit)
Otherwise known as managing success. Once you have a successful cash flow you need to diversify it and build your business to have multiple cash flows.
Oh look. Another successful company that couldn’t manage their own success. Capitalism is going great.
For me it’s the camera. If the best camera I have is the one with me then the one with me is going to be the best I can buy (within reason) if they could get Samsung or Pixel quality (or iPhone I guess) that would be awesome.
