My nearest store is about 3km away and I will usually walk there unless I’m picking up anything especially heavy or bulky.
I feel like you might be over-thinking this. If it’s a recent thing then it’s most likely just a phase and he’ll grow out of it when puberty kicks in. One my best friends has an 11 yo and a 4 yo and they both end up in their parent’s bed pretty much every night. There is nothing weird or unusual about a child sleeping in the same bed as their parent/s, no matter what internet hacks try to tell you.
I’m a noob myself and have found Kubuntu the best experience so far, although my laptop is a bit niche so a lot of the other distros didn’t work correctly.
I maintain a reddit account linked to a burner email so that I can occasionally ask questions that I can’t find the answer too elsewhere. Other than that the only social media I use is Lemmy.

I used to work for the Woodland Trust and believe that this is the right thing to do. Bins in woodlands do not get emptied often and will often overflow and attract unwanted pests like rats. Rats will also eat the eggs of ground nesting birds and cause other environmental issues.
If they are selling food on site then the food vendor should have a bin that their customers can use inside their cabin/cafe and dispose of the waste daily as part of the service.
