Don’t duck it up!
Don’t duck it up!
I’m teaching my son to be pc agnostic.
Bah ha ha! All the main distros are amazing these days. You really can’t go wrong with most. And if one doesn’t work, just pick another of the top 5.
Ghost driving cars seemed pretty dumb
Ugh, the daily dumb thoughts from rich people.
Boot with a live USB image first. Check and see if everything is working. Don’t be married to the first Linux distro you try.
Pyramid scheme! The losers are just the last ones out.
Isn’t that while platform pro Nazi?
“My work was called ‘dogshit’ I was called ‘incompetent’.” Is this really news? While hurtful and not cool to tell somebody. Im sure a million a people think similar things about a co-worker everyday. This is classic toxic environment and time to leave. If there’s issues like sexual harassment, she needs to get a lawyer. Makes me wonder if there’s going to be a " You probably heard some rumors…" On LTT

Sadly this would probably only lead to paying more for certain content types.
The Internet is to open. ISPs should have blocking controls accessable to subscribers.
It’s been good for me. It has broke a couple of times, but it seemed pretty in par for any Linux distro. For me it was time to re-install. It has a cool package called “gnome-layout-switcher” that mimics popular desktops.
I moved because Debian was somewhat boring, Ubuntu was busy trying to make stuff nobody wanted. RPM based distros were bought by Oracle or IBM and felt like “old hat”, ha ha sorry. Arch was the goal but I was feeling lazy so Manjaro it was. I’ll probably try another Arch based distro because pacman tools are pretty good.
I’m sure this will play out like the office 365 subscription service. Everyone I know uses it as work. Microsoft doesn’t sell to IT people. They sell to middle management and finance departments. Ba ha ha ha.
My guess is the future will just be a subscription service for everything.
I hope so. Competition would make Windows a better product. Most of innovation that Windows has had in the last 10 years it’s all about getting telemetry and adding ads.
I want my $2
