Yep. I’m on EndeavourOS which is about as far as you can get from Mint without going to like Slackware, LFS, or BSD. Basically every single run of pacman prompts for a reboot. I’m sure I could restart individual services or subsystems instead, but that’s not what the OS popup says.
Buy one made before, I dunno, 2005?
Yeah for real, fuck SMS protocol for omitting basic quality of life features developed decades prior.
Why? BCC is the solution and has been part of email since at least 1990. I’m not condoning a dogpile on OP, but this is a solved problem.
Came to say this. Also of note, digital purchases on Bamdcamp are downloadable as DRM-free, lossless FLAC files which is awesome.
Yes to all this. I picked up my original Steam Controller the other day and forgot just how crazy loud that thing is.
This 100%. Personally I’m happy with the build quality on my Elite 2, but I hate that it requires Windows 10+ to update the firmware. And it really needs a trackpad.
Sorry, this post was sarcasm, due to the many redundant posts in multiple communities. It was practically the only news in my feed today.
This. I stopped counting after 10 across news@lemmy.world and politics@lemmy.world alone.
I say yes. It’s one of my favorite genres (if you can call it one) and definitely includes loop-based plots like Groundhog Day and Primer. But I also enjoy the Terminator Series and Back to the Future and others that don’t really loop that way. I suspect most fans are similar. It’s hard to imagine enjoying one premise but not the other.

Maybe C3PO was a kit. Like a gay robot Lego set for ages 5-12. Those Jawas can sell practically anything.
If ammo got simplified then I’m sure weapon condition / repairs got the axe too. Wish is fine I suppose. But hopefully attachments like scopes and suppressors and grenade launchers are still included, those were great.
On ammo I’d be okay with simplifying NATO vs Warsaw Pact rounds because that’s a bit hard to track for anyone unfamiliar, but as you say I liked the overall immersion of matching bullets to the gun.
I’m hoping the PC modding scene takes off because that will let us customize all kinds of things.
Where is it being promoted/marketed? I haven’t seen that. I’m only aware of Signal because of tech news and privacy threads.

Do you have evidence? And what do you think of the Molly fork?
I played Dirt 2 & 3 and enjoyed them. 2 leaned more into actual rally racing (non-looping course with a copilot) and I was a bit slow to warm up to that but ended up quite liking it. 3 added a lot more Gymkhana which seemed a bit familiar from drift racing but ended up being even more challenging and fun IMO. Both are a far cry from traditional racing (and the games include plenty of that too) but I love the variety.
"My mother … would give us a hard time sometimes, and she would say to us, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?’ " Harris said with a laugh. “You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.”
That’s actually kinda nice. I can appreciate that. We’re all the middle children of history, in a way.
Where’s the Codemasters love? For me, the GRID and DiRT series both strike the best balance between realism and arcadey fun. Huge shame they were bought out by EA.
Also, don’t hate me but Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is kind of a better Mario Kart. Though I haven’t played MK8.
No, I stick to rEdRuM
