I miss most communities not being overly political, I’ve blocked more users and communities than what I’ve subscribed to in lemmy. I don’t want to doom scroll through a political hive mind (which I’m not even aligned with) when I’m on my phone

I’ve been on symbicort for the last decade, basically made me not have asthma at all, only had attacks when my allergies picked up strong. And my new doctor gave me montelukast and inhalan plus for those and I’ve been kinda living like a normal person ever since.

Well as long as I don’t run out of the stuff

Initially I was prescribed two doses of symbicort a day but during the pandemic I couldn’t afford it so I started stretching it out by using it only once a day and realized that was enough for me so I’ve been using it only once a day since then

This new doctor also tried to get me off symbicort but the tests showed I couldn’t breathe properly without it so we decided to try again on the summer with better weather to see if maybe I can go into a different schedule that is even more reduced in uses

Their QA worked better than intended, they had tests fail worldwide and tons of results to work off of hahaha

Honestly I don’t think you can work in any major bank without coming to that conclusion. The whole system is a mess of dinosaurs refusing to get up to date

I don’t agree with the lemmy hive mind when it comes to politics so I had to block every person and sub that pushes a political agenda in order to enjoy the platform, it took a while and new subs and/or people show up now and then but now my feed is just the things I want to see.

Sadly that also ment blocking a lot of subs that would have been interesting had not 95% of the posts been actually pushing a political agenda instead of being either news or a discussion about something non political

Pretty much, if you’re security conscious you’ll go and turn it off, if it keeps meta from lobbying against the mozzila foundation it seems like a happy middle ground.

If/when they make it so you can’t turn it off anymore that will be a different story

I discovered basic versions of windows are even more restrictive when I was unable to install my favorite lightweight pdf reader in a friend’s laptop because Windows home just said that for my safety I wasn’t allowed. With no option to bypass this limitation being hinted at.

Ended up installing it anyways but had to run the installer from an admin terminal (luckily it was windows 7 so it was a local account with admin rights instead of a bullshit Microsoft one)

Usually the credit card provider own policy. And I can assure you if you do nothing even tho it’s a prepaid it’ll probably go into negative balance and they’ll send you to collections.
