I know a remote worker in Iran, went dark for a few days this week. Apparently they can’t call the UK, no internet, ended up relaying messages via a friend in Brazil via sat phone.
Got accused of setting fire to the school. At the time of the fire, I was miles away, taking a music exam, after getting official permission, and being picked up and taken there by my mum. All very easily verifiable. Didn’t stop them from ‘interviewing’ me for 3 hours.
Currently going through this, the council wrote the order, took it to my neighbour, who promptly talked them out of serving it. Said he’d be quiet. Wish it worked like that for parking tickets.
FYI if you’re shooting tethered the live view functionality and performance of Capture One is infinitely better.
Not sure they’re much better, they charge to install an intervalometer app. Its extremely basic functionality that should be there as standard.
http://www.vk2zay.net/ Maybe this is obscure enough?! I miss hobby sites like this!
Not obscure enough, cool site though! Used to post there and amateurpyro, mtbs3d and a few others
Nothing against FC but saying it’s infinitely better than something lika Davinci Resolve is just silly.
You will need the tactical bezel add on for that
The very largest potato you can find.

Once had to explain to an old lady (in full-time employment in a job that requires use of a computer) that the mouse moves around on the desk surface. She was trying to move the cursor by putting the mouse on the screen.
Glad you enjoyed it! You must have very good coordination I think my high score is under 30!
I’d heard so many good things about DE but the voice acting felt so jarring it really put me off. Words completely mispronounced (or maybe bad translation) in the intro and no sense of flow whatsoever.
I think they’re amazing. The chemistry of colored flame has fascinated me since I was young, and there’s nothing quite like being close to explosions. If I had more time and lived in the US I’d be a hobby pyrotechnician.
Love me some 50/50 lemon juice and maple syrup. Never thought to try with balsamic/oil, thanks for the tip!

BLARP! I suppose it’s a physics game but I’m not aware of anything else quite like it. It’s incredibly simple, addictive, and could only really exist as a VR game.
Shout out to Superhot and Noita, already mentioned in this thread.
Volumetric video for sports is interesting because it offers VR users the option to ‘be there’, but the provider can also offer desktop/mobile users the option to control their own virtual camera. I can kinda see it taking off in a few years when more cheaper/lighter headsets with good passthrough arrive.
I know a few producers, the only one who is full time doesn’t really need the money. The rest mostly do muaic tuition or similar, seems like a good match if you know an instrument(s).
