Set aside a cardboard box for stuff you haven’t used in years but you’d hate to throw away because it’s still useful. When the box fills up, drop it off at the thrift store and get another box

I’ll never forget being around 12 years old and hearing my dad address another adult by Mr+surname. It was Mr Palmer who organized the little league I grew up playing in and my dad coached. In school we were forced to address teachers and staff as Ms, Mrs or Mr but at that instance I realized treating others with respect is a choice
I too use stock for making food for my dogs. I’ll also make jello treats, it’s cheap, they love it, it’s really good for them.
I’d say pour salt into each pot but I fear the plants are the propery of a local nursery and it’s not their fault the store is managed by idiots
Show him YouTube videos of the fox making the same noise? Hopefully you can convince him
Did you get the 1200 baud modem?
The Great Replacement Theory is here. It has nothing to do with race and it’s been flaunted in our face all along. Universal Income is a hoax and if you think otherwise you’re a chump
TRS-80 CoCo, 16k RAM, cassette drive
My orthopedic doctor recommended to me exercising with elastic bands (cheap at any drugstore). It’s low impact and you can easily control how difficult it is.
Not the exercises I was given but this video gets the idea across https://youtu.be/fgKHFLe654U
She’s gonna think you’re an asshole. Who cares what we think?
I have plenty of experience working with contractors. I am a contractor. Many of my friends are contractors. When there is an abundance of work they’ll bid high. If they don’t get the job no big deal. If they get paid well then why not take it on, push lesser paying jobs back. Both times I heard this phrase they were making a big deal about nothing and I got someone to do it much cheaper.
Congratulations! You’ll be fine. I knew zilch when I bought my first house (total dump) and learned as I went.
After 30 years of owning my own home my red flag is when they say “this is going to be a big job”.
I was thinking more along the lines of The Tick, they’re not so far apart I suppose
I’ve always had this fantasy of dressing up like a superhero and helping folks out. Like fixing flat tires and small stuff like that. I’d hire a sidekick to do all the heavy lifting while I stood around taking the credit and making silly jokes
Your money will go further if you donate to a local charity or food bank. That being said, I’ll give money occasionally. It’s nice to let them know others do genuinely care about them and their plight. Usually I’ll talk to them first. If they’re not too pushy I’ll slip them enough for a couple of meals. Subway gift cards are a good way to go. There’s lots of them and you know your money will go towards food. Most importantly treat them with respect and dignity
“You’re really cracking yourself up aren’t you?”
I hate automation to the point of being a Ludite. We’re chasing our own tails. Every new luxury becomes a necessity we can’t do without and we become enslaved
I had a Radio Shack computer in the early 80’s. When I sent in the warranty card, my address ended up on nerd mailing lists. Compuserve was the only public ISP and access cost $7 and hour IIRC plus it was a long distance call around 50 cents a minute (ask your grandparents). I was able to access the internet for free at public libraries. Had no idea what I was doing but managed to see weather predictions and access Nexus which was a digitized database of periodicals (magazines).
