I see it all the time. A certain demographic seemingly cannot comprehend metaphors and jf it isnt literally perfect in every way they attack it. I think really they know they wont look good admitting they have issues with the message of equality/equity so they attack the method of delivery instead
Not really. Usually its just the Grimm version. There’s no such thing as an “original” version to a folk tale. Or i suppose once there was but it was gone the second it was retold. That’s the nature of oral tradition. There were countless retellings of the various fairy tales with different endings than the ones The Grimm Brothers went with in their books.

Props for having an unpopular opinion. I think its interesting a self proclaimed anarchist has such an incredibly totalitarian belief. Also one that sounds rooted in a deeply right wing/bigoted style of thinking. “Men are inherently violent so we need to castrate them against their will to fit our view” wouldnt the much more logical conclusion be to try and change culture to one that discourages toxic masculinity? Rather than believing in a massive violation of human rights
