  • Yeah Samsung. So that is something we agree on.

The case is weird I don’t want to buy a bulky one on Scamazon that pops free from the glue being cheap like the second case I tried to buy. So that is where I am at not being able to find them. I got gifted a case from Debrand and it literally wouldn’t let the phone fold enough to trigger the sensor to turn off the interior screen.

Seems pixel is better, but I liked the Microsoft duo for being wider but that died hard.

They just don’t feel like a permanent answer from the cell phone manufacturers.
But I’m glad they found a home with someone that gets the most out of it. Everyone has got unique needs I feel these are still just hyper specific.

  • Neat. My signal is worse, my phone collects dust inside the hinge and I have had to replace so many screen protectors as well as deal with the fact that the front screen is narrower and thus makes typing on it worse and creates typos now a lot. And I still can’t get a phone case for the life of me or it.

I prefer the fingerprint sensor not being under the screen for sure but that was solvable without needing it to fold.

I’m glad you are finding a use case but as someone that also remotes into PCs I actually just prefer to pull out a laptop. And I hate how the software often doesn’t work seemlessly between open and close causing apps to restart and lose progress.

That’s just my findings though. Didn’t want previous commentor to feel alone among others praising it when I have found issues as well. We are all basing our feelings on these off emotions anyways. That makes it a gimmick in my eyes.

  • I’d love to get the chance to talk to Isaac Asimov and talk to him about the future and how he decided to start releasing his stories. Probably around 1972 because I liked bicentennial man a lot.

    Other than that:

    • go back to see socialist radical anti-authoritarian Jesus do his real protesting instead of the biblical king washed stories.
    • or go back to the fall of Amen to see the end and beginning of monotheism of the modern day and understand the actual departure of the worker force
    • see if I can find the actual great flood that all the myths seem to talk about and see if the conspiracy of it being about the Mediterranean basin is true. So probably Mesopotamia time and hope it’s recent enough memory to hear actual stories.

  • So, as someone that was homeless 3 times already and went from that to doing ok for myself enough to at least have some vacation and self autonomy.

Find something that only you, can do.

That was the advice that worked for me. Don’t try for the specific jobs that make money or even make you happy doing it but something that you knew if people thought about it, they think of your name to get it done.

It’s stressful and a shitty life sometimes but I know people rely on me. And it’s ok to take time to figure it out and make bold decisions to get there. Stuff you wouldn’t expect to do can be a great starting place.

I couldn’t afford my existence in America ( got bullied out of my STEM field because it made other stressed people feel better) so I looked for jobs that would pay for it for me. That’s how I discovered the circus and cruise lines. Food and lodging and people trying to get by. From there I found something they needed fixed and learned how to do it.

You need to be willing to change. And probably willing to go your own path in a way that will mean a life different than you ever knew. Nothing that worked for anyone else will absolutely work for you, we are all too individual and different.

But that’s why you can do something. Maybe you can work with leather and make aprons that no one else can. Maybe you can operate a remote station alone better than others cause you like the quiet. Maybe you can land planes in Boise Idaho cause you don’t mind living there and like planes. Maybe you can run a cult of personality where people think you are their mother God…

I dunno it’s worked for others but it’s up to find what you can do and how far from the norm you are willing to go.

Normal is a myth of America anyways. Go do you.

    Easy.

First buy up a bunch of housing east of the California fault line and then with the billion get nuclear missiles that I can use to trigger the fault and push California off creating a new coast line and water front property for a brand new tech center of the world.

If I have any left over I can look at maybe getting a space crystal that rapidly grows in water to create a new island that true foreigners won’t be able to step on without hurting themselves.

You got to learn from the best.
