We’re talking about why people like working with people face-to-face, so how is that not important? 😆 It’s pretty much the only factor that matters to me in terms of wanting to work in the physical office or not.

Yeah we all are mate, neither of us have much choice in that 😆 Doesn’t mean it doesn’t attract wonderful people.
Obviously I do, some of them are close friends now. But being around 100 people I really like for 27 hours a week is really good for me. During the pandemic I only went into the physical office once a week and it made me realise how much I appreciate that kind of socialisation.
You shouldn’t have pain just from sitting. Doing yoga or pilates or other strength exercises can stop this from happening.
Not far off, it’s a worker co-op 😆
Depends on where you work. My colleagues are brilliant, I’ve made lifelong friends at my work place but then it’s quite a radical work environment so attracts interesting people. I’d be gutted if I couldn’t see them every week.
I have some sea salt flakes I use in whatever I’m cooking, if it’s needed. Most things taste nicer with a bit of salt in.
The modifiers haven’t seemed to work for a long time.
Definitely do both if you need to, but don’t under estimate exercise. I went from 10.5st to 9.5st just doing couch to 5km and then continuing to run 5km 3 times a week, no other dietary changes.
Running for half an hour burns about 400 calories. 1 hour of running, 800. 3 runs a week can burn a day’s worth of calories. Don’t understate the impact exercise has.
Agreed on period variation. I remember my teacher telling everyone women didn’t lose more than a teaspoon of blood over the course of a period and I was so confused because I could be sitting over the toilet and losing a teaspoon’s worth in 2 minutes. But no, apparently I was misjudging the amount.
I felt vindicated when I later bought a mooncup and it would fill up in an hour 😆
I feel like you must be lucky. My parents had a Dualit intending to never need to buy another toaster, but it was so often away being repaired they had to buy a cheap one for the interim. We had 2 Dualits at work and same problem. One of them has been permanently trashed now. They also take SO LONG to toast?!
I got a mid-range Kenwood 4 years ago and it’s going strong.
Good luck! I’m sure you’ll get there and hopefully you’ll be able to maintain some good habits.
I’m part of a veg co-op so get amazing, locally grown veg pretty cheap. So I’m eating very seasonally lately and it’s nice. Last week was an aubergine glut so I made baba ganoush. This week we get squashes for the first time this year, I’m excited!
What time do you eat your meal? I can’t imagine going hours without eat even a little bit of fruit.
Squandered how? It feels waaaaay more stable now.
Usually every other day, unless I’ve been for a run and then I’ll shower straight after but won’t bother washing my hair, it takes too long.
My parents I guess, their toilet it outside.
They are in the UK, I reported one to ASA and they made them remove it.
Montezuma’s, Radek’s Chocolate.
