I haven’t really seen my exact situation & frustration put so perfectly.
I know it’s exhausting, but just reading this helps remind me that I’m not alone.

They really are responsible for the enshittification of the web. So many great ideas that might have actually become something special if they hadn’t been bought, and subsequently shut down by Google.
That or the system is trying to wake us all up from hyper-sleep by throwing increasingly impossible scenarios at us in order for our brains to wake up naturally.
Except we keep looking at everything and going, “yeah, that makes sense, fuck it” and just not waking up.
The machines are going mad trying to figure us out.
